Privacy policy
hagglehound (hagglehound.ai) is operated by Abunda Technologies LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit hagglehound.ai or join our waitlist, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- When you signed up, the part of the page you signed up from, any campaign tags in the link you used (for example, which post sent you), the version of the consent wording you agreed to, and when you unsubscribe.
- A salted hash of your IP address, when you submit the signup form, used only to limit repeated tries. It's kept separately from your email address, and we delete it within two hours.
- Bot-check signals. Our home page loads Cloudflare Turnstile for every visitor. It processes information about your browser and device to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum and privacy policy.
- Visit statistics. Our pages load Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or anything else stored on your device, and without fingerprinting. It records the page you viewed, the site that linked you here, your browser, operating system and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. We see only totals, never a record of you. Like any website, our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver pages, run the bot check and count visits. We keep only the hash described above.
We don't use cookies, advertising or tracking pixels, and our only analytics is the cookie-free visit counting described above. Our pages and fonts come from our own site. The only other service your browser contacts is Cloudflare: its bot check on the home page, its visit counting and, if a request to our site fails or returns an error, Cloudflare's network-error reporting (in some browsers).
How we use it
- To email you about early access, launch news and occasional product updates, because you asked us to.
- To keep the waitlist free of spam and fake signups.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and links bring people to the waitlist.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing or advertising. We use Cloudflare to host this site, count visits, store the waitlist and run the bot check. When we start emailing the list, we'll use an email delivery provider that sends on our behalf and may use your address only to do so. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor if our business changes hands, under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you're on the waitlist. IP hashes are deleted within two hours. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your address, its unsubscribe code, when you signed up and opted out, and which consent wording you agreed to, so we don't email you again. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it from the waitlist and from any copies we've exported; that also deletes the record that you opted out. Our host keeps automatic backups of the database for up to 30 days, so deleted information, including IP hashes, drops out of those backups within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe with the link in any email we send, or by writing to us.
- Access, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy@hagglehound.ai. We'll respond within 30 days.
- California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Security
The waitlist is stored with Cloudflare, encrypted in transit, and only our team can access it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there's little to expose.
Children
hagglehound is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Do Not Track
We don't track you across other sites, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing here: there's no tracking to turn off.
Where your data is processed
We're based in the United States, and we store the waitlist in the United States. Cloudflare may handle your requests to this site in a data center near you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll tell waitlist members by email before it takes effect.
